What does the program involve?

1-2 hour of ice alloted to the SRA per week on Wednesday and one Sunday per month

Ice time is divided into time for younger kids that are learning and older kids that want to develop skills.

We practice skating skills, stick and ring skills, game play and strategy, and play fun games for team building and skill consolidation.

We follow the Ringette BC FUNdamentals and U10 teaching and learning guidelines.

There will be opportunities for kids to play with other kids form Houston or Terrace associations in a jamboree or game like format here in Smithers.

Potential opportunities for tournament experience with options to participate in the Terrace and/or Houston tournaments.

Participants get free practice jerseys and access to our equipment lending bank.
